You may have noticed that there have not been many new paintings lately. With my upcoming show from January 20th through April 13th 2024, I have been kept busy creating twenty seven new pieces for this solo exhibition. It will be presented in the Mulcahy Family Gallery at the Orillia Museum of Art and History. More details will be posted here as it becomes available.
I was interviewed about the upcoming show by Kelly and Ramya on AMI TV on April 6th. The podcase audio is available on AMI’s web site. There is more to come from AMI, stay tuned for more news.
The Current Gallery does still have a few new pieces in it. Click here to see them.
The 26th Annual International Women’s Day Art show at the Orillia Museum of Art and History is currently showing. This year’s theme is ‘Reimagining’. My piece is called “After Loss”
For me, making art is like writing a story; it makes order out of chaos. It also underscores the importance that recording impressions and events have to our collective experience. We operate within stories in order to understand our world and our place in it.
